{Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference}

Apples chopped and stewed with just a little bit of sugar and cinnamon make an excellent side dish for almost any meal.

Take eggs out of the carton. Put them in a pottery bowl or basket in the refrigerator. They will be easier to see and the refrigerator will look more appealing.

Place a bowl of fresh apples on the counter or table. They smell wonderful, look beautiful, and remind us to eat them!

Make a double batch when preparing etrees, soups or fruit pies. Serve one and put the other in the freezer. This way you are always ready for that unexpected guest.

"It isn't the big pleasures that count the most; it's making a great deal out of the little ones." Jean Webster
