{Dive into: The joy of learning}

The smell of a new box of crayons, freshly sharpened pencils, and shoes that will take a bit to break-in; all remind us of the beginning of another school year. Are you putting a little one on the bus for the first time this fall? How about sending a bigger kid off to University? Maybe you are excited to be enrolled in a class yourself.

The Mermaids love learning new things. Self-improvement is the name of the game for us. We are constantly trying novel creative projects, listening to sage advice of wise women, hunting for something innovative to fix for dinner, or seeking a fresh challenge. We are convinced that learning is the Fountain of Youth. It keeps us vital, dynamic and happy!

This fall we encourage you to learn something new, push yourself a bit. Don't let age, circumstance or prejudice hold you back. Dive in, you'll find the water is excellent.
